Trying to ramp up potty training!

So I'm working on actually trying to get Eric to either stay dry all night or wake himself to go use the toilet so he doesn't pee on himself while he's asleep.  It's been a long and ongoing process.  I tried going to pull ups for a while but they are pricey and they feel to him like a diaper so of course he pees instead of pulling them down to go to the bathroom.  Decided if we were going to potty train then he'd go naked for most of the duration of the training process as long as we are home.  Today I actually took Eric out in undies instead of a diaper for back up and things went well.  He made it through his half hour therapy appointment and stayed dry and we even went to the bank after that and he stayed dry!  I think he's getting the hang of things and the idea that he needs to wear undies and pants/shorts with regularity.  I have a friend who is also teaching her two year old to use the potty.  she's going hard core on it and let him pick out his undies and such so he'd be more excited about the whole potty training experience.  Being encouraging really does help to motivate them to keep moving in a positive direction.  I'm hoping that by September he'll be good to go and I won't have to worry about accidents as frequently.
