For those who have monkey children, here's a tip for you. After contacting poison control I found out that the most gas-x will do is possiblly give young children the runs so keep them hydrated. Gaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh So I turn around and unknowingly left about half a package of gel caps sitting in the medicine cabinet above the toilet tank. Just my luck he'd climb on the seat and explore the cabinet and find the damn gas-x. So I think he munched a couple without me knowing it yesterday because shortly after I put him to bed he had a bowel explosion and I had to change him out from the inside out. Tonight I manage to catch him with some and made the call. Thank goodness the pills won't cause him any major issues. This crazy child of mine is going to drive me to drink.
On a more positive note, I took him to speech therapy and his therapist was telling me that he seems to be doing really well and that by the time the sessions are done he should be good and caught up. This means I can work with him at home and start home schooling! So excited. My lil guy is getting so big I just wish he wasn't so inquisitive and curious about EVERYTHING! Oh another thing we did today that he totally enjoyed was a visit to the fire station! Eric got to use the hose on the pumper truck and he sat inside the ladder truck and sounded the horn. He also enjoyed checking out their work out equipment. He was trying to lift some of the weights. Totally cracks me up this boy. I love him so!
Whew this kid is going through crazy growth spurt, a couple weeks ago I bought him size 9 shoes because he was outgrowing his size 6 shoes. Totally crazy how fast he morphed out of those shoes. My little guy is tall and thin and boy he's gonna have some monster feet! Watching him grow is awesome!
