My sweet baby has the blahs....

Poor lil man got hit with flu like symptoms out of NO WHERE this afternoon.  Real early this morning I thought I heard him dry heaving in his sleep but nothing happen and he didn't wake from his sleep either.  I left it alone til he actually woke this morning some where around 8ish.  He was feeling kind of under the weather because he wasn't as hyper and all over the place as usual.  He wasn't quite running a fever so I just kind of let him relax with a blanket and his pillow on the sofa and watch cartoons.  He was up and around a couple of times then went back to laying down.  By noonish he was running a low grade fever and I started to hunt down the meds to try and bring down the fever.  This went on for a few hours because I know I had two full bottles of fever reducer in the house.  Finally about 5 PM I gave up and ran across the street to the neighbor and asked her to watch Eric while I ran to get what I needed.  I was to the store and back within 15 minutes.  I gave Eric a dose of Motrin at half past five which promptly came right back up with some apple juice and yogurt.  New formula is suppose to last 8 hours so no more for him til about 1 AMish.  After the 5:30 episode he slept on the love seat for a few hours then woke up wanting a PB sammich.  I made it for him then he decided he wanted to just go to bed.  So he's been down since 8 and I'm hoping he stays asleep with no issues another 8 hours at least.  A tip to take away from this evolution is if you have waterproof mattress covers they also work well for sofa cushions!  If I had done this with lil guy the first time I wouldn't have had to try and figure out how to clean up his accidents on the sofa.  Now I'm just hoping this clears up and goes away.  Makes me nuts when he's healthy and doesn't give me a break but it just kills me to see him sick and miserable.  Also doesn't help me get any sleep at night because I'm on high alert and my ears go in to mommy mode and every little noise wakes me.
